Kovidara Table Lamp

Named for the mountain ebony recorded in the Mahabharata, the Kovidara collection looks inward — to the quiet hollows left behind as a tree yields to time. Its forms translate this passage into cast sculpture, shaped by hand with honeycombed cavities and irregular openings through which light slips and gathers.
Rather than concealing the traces of age, Kovidara gives them form. Hollowness becomes not an absence, but a living structure — one that catches light, holds shadow and changes with the passing hour. Each piece becomes a landscape of apertures and shadows, revealing something new as the light moves across it.
